If You Feel Forgotten by God, Read This
There’s a kind of silence that feels heavier than noise.
Not the peaceful kind — the kind where you’re praying, waiting, hoping… and wondering if God still sees you in this season.
I’ve had moments like that.
Moments where I was doing everything I knew to do — praying, believing, trying to stay strong — and still feeling like nothing was changing. It’s easy in those seasons to start asking quiet questions in your heart:
“God, did You forget about me?”
“Did I miss something?”
“Are You still working?”
What I’ve learned is this:
God’s silence is not His absence.
Sometimes He’s working in ways we can’t see yet. Sometimes He’s strengthening us for what’s ahead. Sometimes He’s aligning people, timing, and circumstances that only make sense later.
Looking back at my own journey, the seasons that felt the quietest were often the ones where God was doing the deepest work in me — healing things, preparing me, shifting my perspective, and teaching me to trust Him beyond what I could see.
If you’re in one of those seasons right now, this is your reminder:
You are not forgotten.
Your prayers are not ignored.
Your story is not stuck.
God is still writing, still moving, still holding every detail — even the ones you don’t understand yet.
If today feels heavy, I created a simple prayer you can download and come back to whenever you need encouragement. You can find it here: Feeling Overwhelmed Prayer.
You don’t have to have everything figured out today.
Just keep taking the next step with Him.
